k, lets c.. i'm drinking vanilla coke now. erm... someone juz told me that one of my fren is married(shocking news indeed but not the 1st though) .. talking about marriage, it does brings alot of shiver down my spines.. its like suicide u know, u'll lose all the fun and freedom and u have to devote your time, mentally, spiritually and physically to the newly found commitment~ EEeEeekk... the thought is unbearable!

Let's c, my fren is 24, and she's female... i guess its not a major problem for female... Now now, i am not discriminative here, but i think that since the society views that its ok for females to stay home or marry early, then it shouldnt be a problem~ BUT.... BUT... i thought females nowdays prefer to have equalitative freedom and stuffs?? Is 24 really too early? or juz right? Ive instance where my guy frens got married early, some due to security(afraid their gal elude them in DUE time), and others are simply shotguns~ haha =).. but unless forced to, i dont c a reason y ppl get married so soon~ Dont u know that the rate of divorce has been escalating to unbelievable heights nowdays??? THe earlier u marry, the HIGHER chance u'll divorce~ OKOK, i aint cursing ppl and i aint jealous(at least not now i guess), but looking at the real life facts and statistics, stuffs does look bleak as we approach the future. What about the seven year itch? what about temptations? etc. etc. I read a woman magazine a few days b4 though(dont misunderstood, that belonged to my cousin sis), and in there, it openly talks about affairs they had and how "happening" it is... Ha ha ha, and i thought males were the bitchy ones~ as it goes, female are having their fair share of obnoxious fun too~

Erm.. let me continue with the marriage thingy anyway... i was wondering... y would 2 ppl get together and make such a huge commitment in the 1st place? Imagine, u'll be having her as your sole sex partner and soul mate and etc. etc. for the rest of your life(so speaking...), and if u've tried out all sorts of relationship b4 u make this decision, i think its pretty much acceptable, but at a younger age like 21~25, isnt it a teeny wee bit too early?? Well, maybe the fate u share with your guy/gal now wont come anymore.. well, who knows, guess its some sort of a gamble~ But life is all about gambling isnt it? Thats wat made it fun~ ^_^

Anyway, i've something to declare about being in a relationship~ look here, those people who told me that quarreling in a relationship is the way to understanding and shitz, i say.. FUCK YOU, GO fuck yourself and question your fucked up IQ+EQ and pls go for a rehab training to brain wash your CRAP thoughts!

Being in a relationship is for mutual fun and understanding, its like having a soul mate~ let me repeat in simple terms! U SHOULD BE HAPPY IN A RELATIONSHIP!!!!!!!!! If u find yourself quarreling all the time, its probably u guys dont match, or one of u have a fucking problem! Juz be frank and straightforward in your thoughts with each other~ remember, we dont have a 6th sense call psyhchic! We dont know wtf u want unless u use words to epxress your thoughts~ DuH, y do we even have communication in da 1st place? Well, being frank and stuff usually ends up in disappointment~ IF u can pass this stage, u guys should be ok~ If not, juz fucking break up so that u wont have to suffer anymore headaches and heartaches~ Remember, romantic craps from movies and shitz neva works for real life, even if it does, i think the ratio is like 1/6,000,000,000~ And i'll tell u wat is me all about, if my gal suddenly comes to me and start giving me one hell of fucked up time without a good reason, i'll ignore her totally~ Not that i'm bragging, but i read alot of relationships and pshychological books, i'd always tell the gal not to be unreasonable and wat the real McCoy about relationship is.. IF the problem persist, then sayonaa~ I'll prefer a gal who's mature and intellectual anyway~ intellectual meaning she actually used her brain to decipher stuffs around her, not her heart~ =p

Well, after 7 exes(and going), i think i do have a bit of right to make all these statements~ and BTW, its all IMHO~ Dont like it? dont read it then~ I aint hanging u at the edge of KLCC, forcing u to read it or else u'll fall with the wind! Alrighty Brian, this is for u, the answer to your questions... are in general.... on gender relations, specifically stating, it is about relationships between the SEXES!!! Pardon me for that cap though, but i like to point out one thing-- ppl get excited when they see that word. Even though it can be seen in most forms, but i guess ultimately, ppl would relate that back to the *u know what*

Ermm, lets get to the point anyway. The question... " Y DO GUYS WANNA HAVE MULTIPLE GFS?" .. seeing that this topic may be pretty rhetorical if i argued it one way, i think i'll change the topic to " Y DO PPL DESIRE POLYGAMY?" This is a better title isnt it? =) (i'm a genius aint i?hahaha)

Let me juz go to the root 1st b4 i go deeper into it, its better to provide some fundamentals to better the flow of the opinions i'm gonna put through later.

Well, u c, from aeons past, due to the body built of men(note that i didnt use "man"), it is assumed and viewed that men are more dominant creatures, as compared to our female counterparts. Male are more ambitious, aggresive and territorially possesive! Females r the support and the backbone of the demanding males! With this point, it can be seen that with such traits among them, males are deemed to have the right to decide in wateva they desire, including the number of female partners they have.

Throughout the generations past, men has uphold such culture and actions. It is not surprising that many cultures have men in the frontline of decision making in almost everything deemed *important*. Females are just pure supportive in everything they do. Its a norm for ancient chinese to have more than 1 wife if they can afford it. Its a measure of power and authority in some sense. *Duh* But as civilization evolved, female r partaking in more importat roles in our society. Prudent as the men's dominance in most outward field, but more and more women are rising in ranks and power in these modern times.

Dire as it can be for men, for they are feeling threatened and insulted at such uprisings, but its not suprising either. I myself believe in equality among the sexes and i always welcome dominant female in our society. Perhaps the key to my opinion now is the environment i'm grown up in, since we're semi-democrates, we have freedom that can be exercised to efficeint extent. Lets look at some of the arabic cultures as of now, there is still presence of women being treated like craps andunfairness is unsuprisingly high in those areas. Even when women get raped, they cant do a thing to men. U c, when a woman get raped in that society, as long as another man stand up for the supposedly rapist as an alibi, that lady cant testify against the rapist. Another words, woman have no stand or watsoeva in that culture. Being from a liberal birth, this is absurdly nonsensical! Though it is maddening fact that i've to put up through, it cant be changed. Only time will tell for them, as it goes for the rest of the civilization. Obviously, women who practices polygamy in those places would be dealt with severely, and men are free to rape anyone they please(so speaking.. ahem). Sighz!

Alright, for ppl who dont understand wats polygamy, its actually the practice wherby one person has multiple partners. And if u want a more specific and direct xplaination, its multiple sex partners! =) Heres a quiz, wats monogamy? haha =p

Even til now, the dominance in men is still pretty high. It can be seen in our office and domestic politics. And some women juz love to be subdued. Look here, i aint trying to sound descriminating, but women do love to be dominated in some way or another, its even written and proven by Goleman. U can have a look at his books to further understand the situation.

At a glance, female who go around sleeping are sluts, and man who dothat are cassanova. Y is there such major discrepancies? I've always pondered and pondered and i'm inclined to think that same way too. Maybe its how i was brought up, its already instilled in me! I cant help but think the same way too... =/

It all boils down to the amount of power one has i think. Some statistics i've found shown that adulteries and unfaithfulness is rapidly rising all around the developed countries. When man or woman has power, they tend to exercise their power to more than one partner. But in most instances, its usually the male who fully exercised this power thoroughly. I believe most people heard this quote "man xchange love for sex and woman xchange sex for love." Crudely speaking, its more or less true. Woman who've found a guy who could satisfy her in every way will less likely indulge in polygamy. On the other hand, even when a man has a woman that could satisfy him on all aspects of sex and etc., he would still go around romping. The bottom line, its like a built in crusadefor man to do that. (I'm stating that statement in general)

IMHO(in my humble opinion), i beg to differ. Man and woman think the way they are is all purely due to how they were brought up, another words, the environment. There are more than ample instances wherby even a gal who has a guy hot on her, she still goes around sleeping with others and vice versa. Its all how we're all brought up and the amount of power we have that makes that breaking point a reality i think.

IMHO again, i feel that polygamy isnt a bad thing. But i'm just talking about the multiple partners thingy, being dedicated to one partner is something to be proud of for in our society now, its really a tough act to follow. Keeping our options open when we're single is perhaps the best thing one could do, its like doing a market survey, u give out survey sheets to surveyees and try to get an answer to the intended hypothesis. When we're satisfied with the survey, we stop. This goes the same for relationships. Male/female indulges in polygamy is subconscious thingy. On the physical side, its sex and looks and everything that can be seen with the naked EYE. But subconsciously, everyone is just searching for tat special someone in life, someone that suits the intended hypothesis. So, when u find someone indulging in polygamy, dont jump to conclusions on judging them, for dont we all think of the same thing some time or another? Who are we anyway, to judge anyone of their behaviour? We're all open to opinons, but there is no definite definition in our indefinite world. So just play it cool.

let me repeat wat i've said earlier, females xhange sex for love is actually an understatement and the xplaination to it is fairly simple. IT IS SAID THAT(i am not too sure of this, cuz humanitarian science is still at infant stage) women look for emotional satisfaction when they look for a mate, so going for a guy who's financially able is a sort of security for them, another words, its mental satisfaction. So we cant blame them for their actions. Another thing is, when man are at their pinnacle of their career, thats when he gets lots of female's attention too. Female are also attracted to power, in terms of a powerful man, this gives them spiritual satisfaction. The looks of the man would be a bonus to the woman. Weirdly enough, the intention of females grow as they age. When they're younger, they go for nothing but looks, but when they get older, they look for guys who can provide them with all their emtional satisfaction, looks is negligible in this instant. So gals would keep jumping from one intended target to another to get the feel she wants, in terms of emotional and physical satisfaction.(mainly emotional) I sometimes wonder if this is evolutional or its a build in floor plan in them to make them react this way. =/

Guys react almost the same way as gals, but theres a few things that need to be noted. Guys get power to satisfy the gals.(assuming that with power comes money) Indulging in polygamy gives them a feeling of power. Even though they may not be superbably successful in their working life, they could use polygamy to boost their already brimming ego. Its all about the sense of satisfaction. Guys wanna attain the attention of the crowd to further enhance his existence.

I am not gonna go into the unorthodox process of sexual pleasres for this isnt my topic now, but it does plays a big role in keeping your the other sexually happy. Oh, and one more thing, its proven that sexual activities can relieve stress and beats exercising. Its all due to the excessive endorphynes thats produced during this process. This *shitZ* keeps ppl happy and make them happy. Simply put it, it kills stress and that is good enough for me, if u ask me. =) So this is another reason for ppl to want to try out different sexual pleasures and partners. =)

All in all, polygamy, its a fact in our life. Almost everyone of suitable age would've thought of it at least once in their life. And only those who dare to venture would have indulge in polygamy all their life. Juz remember that having different sexual partners at different time is different from having sexual partners at the same time. Polygamy means having many sexual partners at the same time. Well, what are u waiting for? Go out and unleash the desire in u! haha... Nah, actually, just stick to your culture and u'll be fine. Afterall, the root to this is becuz we want to find the ultimate significant other, the steps to it is negligible since all we want is to find the ultimate happiness in our short short life. I know its an understatement i'm making now, but c'mon, there's nothing wrong with searching for your happiness, time will heal the wounds inflicted in the process of it. =)
